Every now and again, I’ll catch a hint of a smell of something; tonight it’s wet eucalyptus, that reminds me of home.
And then I feel stupid for constantly covering my accent. Then I’ll say something to someone and they’ll ask me to say “shrimp on the barbie” or “crikee.”
And I go back to talking like everybody else. And nobody says anything.

Had a great day at work, bought Anthony an awesome present, drove the indescribably amazing Samantha home from jury duty, and delivered Anthony’s gift. And just had an amazing burrito. It was a very successful day.
